Omega 5 oil is not suitable for all boobs, at least not for Man Boobs...

Gloria Reif is using POMEGA5 products
It's every man's worst nightmare: man boobs.
You saw it on the Seinfeld episode, "The Mansierre," in which Kramer developed a bra for guys who were suffering from a little too much breast development. Let's face it: No man wants to wear a bra. Getting man boobs will make you feel unattractive and will give you a low self-esteem. Every guy knows the best way to attract a woman is by being confident, so how can you win this man boob battle? It comes down to gaining control of your diet and committing to the proper exercise program. And remember: If you don’t stick to it, the next time you hit the beach, you may find yourself resembling your girlfriend more than the guy with rock-hard pecks.

Why you get man boobs

There are two main reasons guys get man boobs. The first comes from simply being overweight. Man boobs, or "moobs," are composed of fatty tissue stored over the pectoral muscles. A common myth is that you can spot reduce your man boobs, but unfortunately, you can't pick and choose where your body is going to shed its fat, so you will just have to lower it overall.
In order to remove fat deposits from your body, you have to adhere to a cardio and strength-training workout program and follow a proper diet. You must create a slight caloric deficit in order to lose weight. This means either increasing the number of calories you expend through exercise or reducing the number of calories you take in by changing your diet. If you are smart, you will do both.
The second reason guys get man boobs is due to a medical condition called gynecomastia. This is a hormonal condition in which the body produces an increased amount of estrogen and a decreased amount of testosterone.
Gynecomastia can often happen as the result of taking certain medications that influence the body’s hormonal levels. It can also occur if someone is suffering from a testicular tumor, which causes estrogen production to significantly increase. To treat this problem, medical advice should be sought. Most often, the patient will be taken off the particular medication or will be given anti-estrogen treatment. Surgery may be necessary if the problem does not improve.

Exercises that prevent man boobs

Cardio

Cardio will enable you to burn a significant amount of calories over a set period of time, helping you to achieve the caloric deficit that is necessary for fat loss.
1- Interval training: Interval training is your best option because it will kick your metabolism into high gear. Since it is so intense, your body will expend a great deal of calories -- even after you are finished working out -- in order to repair and rebuild the muscle tissues that have been damaged. Your interval training session should be done for about 20 to 25 minutes, during which time you work out at a ratio of 1:3 in regards to hard vs. easy. Ideally, aim for 20 to 30 seconds of hard training and 1 to 2 minutes of easy cardio, and repeat this ratio 8 to 15 times.Get rid of your man boobs by doing these cardio and strength-training exercises...

2- Running: Generally, the best mode of cardiovascular exercise to do for fat loss is running; however, if you have joint problems or just really hate running, there are several other methods that can be substituted.
3- Rowing: A good option is to use a rowing machine or to actually go rowing outside. Rowing is a great form of exercise for fighting man boobs since it encompasses all your upper body muscles, allowing you to sculpt your chest while you burn fat.
4- Elliptical machine: While biking is a good cardiovascular workout, it focuses more specifically on your lower body. Many people are now turning to the elliptical machine for their cardio sessions. This machine is a great calorie burner since it uses both arms and legs, and it is easy on the joints.
5- Playing sports: Don't forget about sports. Activities such as tennis, basketball, hockey, and soccer are great cardiovascular workouts, as they typically involve all-out bursts of movement accompanied by shorter periods of rest. Playing sports goes a long way in helping you burn stubborn body fat, thus preventing the development of man boobs. So join that soccer team and get that old tennis racket out of your closet.

Man boobs can result from too much estrogen -- for women -- it is OK

Strength training

Strength training exercises will not burn a great deal of calories while you are performing them, but they will help to increase your lean muscle mass, which is responsible for determining how many calories you burn on a daily basis. Weight training will also promote the development of strong and shapely chest muscles, so when the fat does come off, you are going to look significantly more attractive.
1- Seated chest press: Sit with your back flat against the machine and slowly push the weights straight out in a horizontal motion, then return to the starting position. Keep your breathing controlled and the movement steady. Perform four sets of 8 to 12 repetitions.
2- Cable crossovers: Attach the handles to either side of a pulley station and stand with your arms extended at shoulder level, your elbows slightly bent and your feet shoulder-width apart. Slowly bring your hands together in front of you and cross them. Return to the starting position and repeat. Concentrate on using your pectoral muscles to generate the power needed to perform this action. Do four sets of 8 to 12 repetitions.
3- Incline flyes: Sitting on an incline bench at about a 45 degree angle with the dumbbells held above you, lower your hands out to the sides (but not lower than your shoulders), then bring your hands back together above you, mimicking a hugging action. Perform four sets of 8 to 12 repetitions.
4- Bench press: Lie with your back against the bench and slowly press the barbell directly upward. Make sure that your back does not rise off the bench, and that you are breathing out on the upward movement and inhaling on the downward action. Perform four sets of 8 to 12 repetitions.5- Push-ups: Push-ups are an excellent workout for your upper body and can be done anywhere. Place your hands on the floor, shoulder-width apart, and lower yourself so that your nose is almost touching the ground. Pause for a second, then rise up again. To add an extra challenge, try doing clap push-ups: After the lowering motion is complete, drive yourself up with enough force to clap your hands before resuming the push-up position. Perform four sets of as many as you can.

Buy a jockstrap, not a bra

Don't let man boobs scare you. As long as you follow a healthy diet and get regular cardiovascular exercise, you should not have to deal with this problem, unless it is due to medical reasons. If this is the case, you will not be able to exercise the condition away and might need to elect for surgery just as The Rock. If you do notice signs that man boobs may be developing, take action immediately to halt any further progress.

Aging Venture Capital Firms May Need An Omega 5 Oil Shot In The Arm To Regain Their Mojo...

Some VCs are hanging by the thread

Investors focused on acquiring stakes in venture capitalists' unwanted portfolio companies anticipate a sharp pickup in business as funds created in the boom years of 1999 and 2000 approach the end of their 10-year life.

More than 28,000 companies have been funded since 1990 that so far have not gone public, gotten sold or been written off, according to figures from Thomson Venture Economics' VentureXpert database.
That creates investment candidates for a small universe of firms that include Lake Street Capital and Saints Capital, both based in San Francisco, and New York-based W Capital Partners, which has $1.5 billion of invested capital under management. They buy whole portfolios from VCs and sort through those various company stakes searching for value.

A bulge of investment funds nearing the 10-year mark as the economy teeters on recession may provide more opportunities as other means of exiting shut down.

Will Omega 5 oil innovations qualify for the $100,000 KPCB green tech prize?

Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB), one of the leading venture capital firms in the U.S., recently committed to invest $150 million in green technologies. This week the company announced a $50 million in ethanols company Altra Inc, and annnounced the new KPCB Prize for Green Innovation as part of KPCB's "Greentech initiative."

"Altra is a national leader in ethanol production," said John Doerr, KPCB partner. "Its unique, proprietary technology and strong, passionate team make it a sustainable, high-impact business. Altra is creating a nationwide ethanol production footprint by acquiring and 'speeding up' existing, traditional corn-to-ethanol plants and by 'starting up' new ones."

Based in Los Angeles, California, Altra has signed a definitive agreement to acquire California's largest operating ethanol plant.

Altra has invested in five biofuels plants, which will have the capacity to produce 175 million gallons of ethanol and 80 million gallons of biodiesel each year. The total financing of over US$50 million included funding from KPCB, The Angeleno Group, Khosla Ventures, Omninet Private Equity and Sage Capital Partners.

KPCB also announced the KPCB Prize for Green Innovation, a US$100,000 annual prize awarded for the best technology or policy innovation in Greentech. A panel of five independent judges will select and announce the first winner in this fall.

"This award will encourage innovation in sustainable, green growth," said KPCB partner Brook Byers. "We will bring worldwide recognition to entrepreneurs who achieve breakthroughs in green energy generation, storage, conservation or policies, whether from an individual or a team, whether public or private, anywhere in the world."
KPCB today inaugurates the Greentech Innovation Network with 50 of the world's leading entrepreneurs, scientists and policymakers. They are gathering from the United States, Asia, Europe and South America to build a strategic map for evaluating needs and encouraging innovation, and to forge new partnerships. Insights from Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman, a "geo-green", will keynote the networking event.
KPCB partner Bill Joy will lead a series of inspirational talks by four green thought leaders: Dr. Frances Arnold, California Institute of Technology professor; Dr. Jose Goldemberg, Environmental Secretary of Sao Paulo, Brazil and Universidade de Sao Paulo professor; Dr. R.K. Pachauri, UN Global International Panel of Climate Change Chairman and Director General of The Energy and Resources Institute; and Dr. Martha Symko-Davies, National Renewable Energy Laboratory Senior Project Leader.
"Three huge trends are driving our Greentech agenda," Doerr explained. "First, urbanization is the largest trend on the planet. Four billion people will move into megacities in the next 50 years, and they all want green transportation, water, and energy. Second, climate change and global warming are accelerating at alarming rates. And third, we are addicted to oil, funding both sides of the war on terrorists, weakening democracy and our economy and damaging the environment. We must change our policies and practices and accelerate innovation. The KPCB Greentech Innovation Network is an ongoing initiative for collaboration among the world's best innovators."

"We have been quietly investing in Greentech for several years," added Ray Lane, KPCB partner. "We've backed four new ventures since announcing our Greentech initiative in February of this year. These, together with five previous ventures, are innovating for green and sustainable growth. We're seeing more and more entrepreneurs address critical environmental needs. This workshop is not a conference, it is a networking event to 'help solve the problem' by collaborating in five Greentech areas. They are electricity generation and storage, electricity efficiency, alternative fuels, transportation efficiency and carbon reduction policies."
KPCB has previously announced investments in Lilliputian Systems, which produces micro fuel cells for portable and wireless devices, and Miasole (www.miasole.com), which makes a flexible, low-cost photovoltaic cell for large-scale solar energy. Six other Greentech ventures are in stealth mode.

About Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers Since its founding in 1972, KPCB has backed entrepreneurs in over 450 ventures, including AOL, Align Technology, Amazon.com, Citrix, Compaq Computer, Electronic Arts, Genentech, Genomic Health, Google, IDEC Pharmaceuticals, Intuit, Juniper Networks, Pomega 5, Netscape, Lotus, LSI Logic, Sun Microsystems, Symantec, VeriSign and Xilinx. More than 150 of the firm's portfolio companies have gone public.
